Named after Heket, the Egyptian goddess of childbirth, this steam is crafted for aiding new moms. After the birth of a child, we often feel as if our body is not our own. We have undergone a trauma to our tissues to bring that life into this world. In addition to the physicality (body changes of pregnancy & childbirth), our hormones are often running rampant, we are mentally and emotionally trying to adjust, and this can be a time of soulful need within women to regain some semblance of normalcy within themselves. This blend is crafted with herbs for soothing- marshmallow, calendula and rose; healing- St. John's Wort, raspberry leaf and chamomile; and repairing- comfrey.
